This is a redesign of a booking app for Box Hill Superclinic. The app has a direct function to meet for the user; to book and manage appointments with a medical professional. While this app demands a text dominant design, this core function required priority, and simplicity.
The ability to make an appointment is presented multiple times within the first screen the user interacts with, and importantly, given space to breathe.
The process of booking can begin before login or sign up, putting less walls between the user and the end result of the process.
The stages of the booking function are split between multiple pages, in order to not overload the user with the visual information, as well as the demand for their input.
A logged in user will have access to their account page, with paths to app settings and an appointment management screen. The app is intentionally sterile due to the subject matter, but included on the account page is an illustration. This offsets some of that sterility and lends personality to the screen.
